Christmas Eve!

Christmas eve we did our Christmas program. Every family member prepared some kind of talent or story or song to share with the group. Paul shared a good story, complete with pictures from the laptop and our little family sang "Snowflakes falling of a Christmas Tree" to the tune of popcorn popping. Then all the kids sang Jingle Bells together. They did such a great job, I was a proud mama. It was a very enjoyable night focusing on the Lord's birth and why we celebrate Christmas. Gavin climbed up and snuggle with grandma Max which was a tender moment, they sure love that sweet grandma of theirs.

Then we opened our Christmas jammies and put the kids to bed to set up for Christmas morning. It is always so fun to put out the kids santa gifts and get ready for their pure joy and excitement.

Family Bowling on Christmas Adam

On Wednesday night we decided it would be fun to take the boys bowling. Gavin hadn't ever been when he was actually big enough to do it himself. It was so fun to have everyone together having a great time. I for sure had the lowest score (next time I'm using bumpers) but overall it was a great time.
Both boys did lots of snacking in between their turns.
Kaden LOVES Kiley so he was so excited she and Adam were able to go and he could snuggle up to her while waiting for his turn.

Gavin loved picking which ball to use everytime. After every turn he would watch how many pins would fall down and then shake his bum, every time without fail, it was so very cute!

I sure love this group of people, so grateful that we can live close and all be together so often. I love this time of year and the joy and closeness it brings. So grateful for my Savior and that we're able to celebrate His birth.

Getting ready for Christmas

It's almost Christmas time! Which means lots of shopping and trips to Park Meadows mall, lots of penny throwing, cookies from Mrs. Fields, and disney store visits. The boys are such good little shoppers, I love this time of year: lights everywhere, thinking of the perfect gifts for everyone, everyone happier, lots of family time. I love having kids for Christmas, it makes it that much more magical.
The boys dressed up for the Sunday before Christmas. They looked so very handsome. I can't believe I have such cute boys! They sure do love each other, they play so well together everyday, they really are the very best of friends.

Love this sweet family of mine!

Making Christmas treats

Making our Christmas treats to take to friends and family. This year we made pretzels with chocolate on top and white chocolate popcorn. Gavin and KAden were such good helpers, they opened all the hershey kisses and helped me put them on top of the pretzels, we only managed to eat a few in between :)
Gavin got all his light up necklaces on and was looking so very cute! Love this happy, funny boy.

Gavin's first sleepover

Gavin had his first sleepover at grandma and grandpa's house. They got new Christmas jammies and had a great time... until the middle of the night when Gavin woke up and wanted mom and cried continuously for 2 hours. Mom and Dad were very patient and understanding, Gavin finally went to sleep and had a great time the next day. Guess he just loves his mama.
Kaden found this cool mundo up in Stu's closet and liked wearing it like crazy hair. Cute boy!

Disney on Ice: Frozen

We love going to Disney on Ice every year and this year we had AMAZING seats. We were the 2nd row from the ice. It was so fun to be right up close and see everything. The kids loved it, as did all the adults. What a fun tradition!

Buzz and Woody were even in the beginning and end of the show which was a big hit with the boys.
snow monster
The boys sure had a great time, Gavin either danced, sang, or stared wide eyed the entire time. They especially loved when snow fell from the ceiling and all the lights and dancing.

Kaden's Preschool Thanksgiving program

Gavin and I got to go to Kaden's preschool Thanksgiving Program and it was awesome! I love his teacher, Miss Rebecca, she is so great and Kaden absolutely loves going to preschool. She did such a great job putting together their little program. Kaden got to dress up as an indian. He repeated a little part and did so great! He held his head up high and spoke loud and proud. They sang a couple really cute songs, which Kaden knew all the words and actions to. I was so very proud of my little man. He also made a turkey with things he's grateful for. He was grateful for : Heavenly Father and Jesus, the creation of his grandmas and grandpa, baby brother, very very best family ever. Haha he is so sweet and loves his family so much. I am grateful to be his mom. He teaches me so much about love, forgiveness, patience, joy, and being positive. Gavin clapped and waved to kaden the whole program, he was so proud to see his big bro up there. I thank my Heavenly Father daily for giving me these two sweet boys.

Playing in the snow!

The boys and I had a great time playing in the snow today. I would make them snowballs and they would throw them into the street or the water flowing down the side. They loved it.
