Glenwood Springs

Our first family vacation with just the 4 of us! We went to Glenwood Springs for a long weekend. The boys helped take the luggage to our room.
Then we headed to the hot springs. The boys ate lots of snacks and loved to swim. They enjoyed going in the big pool and jumping off the side to us. And there was also a kid pool that is only 1 foot deep all around and padded, it was so awesome for littles.
Paul and Kaden went back at night when the lights were all on and Kaden thought it was so neat.

We rode the gondola up to an amusement park on top of the mountain. There was an alpine slide at the top that we were able to take Kaden on. He didn't get scared at all, he kept telling us to go faster. There was also a cave tour we went on. It was hard on the boys because you weren't allowed to touch the wall at all, even though it was right next to you and every kid likes to run their hand along the wall. But they did really well and were champs through the whole thing. At one point they turned all the lights off to show how dark it was, Gavin wasn't too sure about that idea but just made a little whimper and held on close to mom.

More fun pool time, it was right across the street from our hotel and we got free access so we took advantage every chance we could.

We found a little craft show going on and walked around their for awhile. There was a live band the boys enjoyed dancing to.
We ate good food, walked around the little town, checked out the river, swam in the hot springs, and rode the alpine slide. Such a fun family getaway, we are already planning when we can go back.
