Disney Land!!!! Day 4

How did I get so blessed with this family? I am so happy that I get to spend eternity with them. We have so much fun together.
 Girls Ride on Cars.

Tonight was our Character dinner. It was a nice slow down, it's a buffet, which the kids enjoyed, and then each character comes to your table to personally take pictures and visit. Gavin loved Chip and Dale and Minnie Mouse the best. Kaden did a lot of flapping the whole time :)

All the boy cousins in one cool car!

Disney Land!!! Day 3

Day 3 we started back in Disney land. These boys had so much fun riding together on the shuttle, they are just the very best of friends.
After riding It's a Small World, which the kids loved of course, Gavin found a Minnie Mouse to snuggle. Cutest!
Waiting in line at Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. The boys were having lots of fun seeing who could walk and balance while we waited. Kaden was seeing if Mr. Toad would eat his hand. I love the picture of my mom with the boys, she is such a great grandma.

Lots of carousel riding, which the boys always love.
Another boy favorite was the Buzz ride. Kaden was so serious about shooting all the aliens and Zurg especially. They were so excited when we got to the point in the line and they saw the real BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!!! I couldn't get either of them to turn around for a picture.

We played hard all day and then ended that night with dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. The kids were so entertained with all the animals around. After dinner we walked around Downtown Disney.

Disney Land!!! Day 2

Today we started out at Disney California Adventure. We were excited to show the kids Cars Land and lets face it, I was super excited to ride my all time favorite, The Tower of Terror!
Love these guys, these are the best!

One of the longest rides we waited in line for was the Cars Racing ride. We were so excited that Kaden was tall enough to ride, we thought it would be his very favorite. It's nice having so many family members in a long line because there are lots of people to entertain the kids. For a lot of the wait we played hide the minion toys. We would take turns hiding little minions and then the kids would find them. It actually lasted a very long time.
Gavin and Jaxon weren't quite big enough to ride the Cars ride so Randi took them to ride some kid friendly rides. The 3 of them had a great time!

You can tell Kaden still doesn't feel great but he was such a champ and never complained once.

All the cousins! Boy do I love them all!

Another favorite of the boys was Monsters Inc. We rode it countless times since there was no wait.

Sid's first time riding the tower of terror, she was a little nervous but as you can see, she had plenty of support from her family, a Sid sandwich.

Gavin and papa bonding
One thing we really enjoyed today was standing in the middle of Cars Land as it got dark and all the neon lights turned on and the song started just like in the movie. It was awesome, the kids loved it.
We also did the Diamond Celebration Parade this night. IT WAS AMAZING!! I was mesmerized and never blinked so you can imagine what the kids thought. We found a great spot and camped out there for about an hour and a half but boy was it worth it. I wish we would've gone every night. I felt so much joy, truly one of the most memorable memories I have. I was surrounded by family and love, and the people I care about most watching an incredible and magical show. I love Disneyland and I love my family!

Disney Land!!! Day 1

It's finally here! We have had our Disney Land trip planned for 8 months now so this morning was highly anticipated. I've been excited for a long time now, I think even more so than the kids.
The night before we left Kaden woke up in the night with a sore thoat, cough, and runny nose. Paul gave him a quick blessing and we hoped for the best. We had to wake up super early for the flight, both boys woke up so happy and excited for "Land!" Gavin got his bear and pacifier and headed for the door saying, "Land, Land. Mon!"

At the airport. All the little boys had their mickey shirts and backpacks and were ready to fly! I love these 3 together, they are so cute!

ON the plane waiting for takeoff! Family trips are the best!

There were pumpkins everywhere!
We got to California, dropped our things in the room and were ready to start the first day in Disney Land. They had just decorated for Halloween and it was so very magical! I feel all tingly just entering the park even, I just love it so much. The boys were in heaven with all the pumpkins and Mickey Mouse. They hardly blinked. I have been waiting so long to take my boys to experience the magic and they definitely felt it.
We knew that Pirates of the Caribbean was closing the next day so we headed there first so we could ride it before then. Our boys LOVED it, they thought all the skeletons and pirates were so cool. Gavin held my hand around him the whole time for safety but didn't want to get off at the end. We also rode the Haunted Mansion right after which they loved also. It was decorated as the Nightmare Before Christmas and so amazing! I think that was the boy's very favorite ride. It was Christmas and Halloween, what could be better?

Kaden was still feeling a little under the weather so the boys took naps while we rode a couple adult rides. Jean hung out with them for a little while. Once Kaden woke up he was really feeling awful, fever, sore throat. So we left the park for the day and took him back to the hotel to rest and be ready for the next day. Poor little guy ended up feeling awful that night so Jean called a friend who is a pediatrician and he told us what would be best for him. Once we got him on some meds he started to feel better and better everyday. He was such a little trooper the whole time even though he was feeling so crummy at times.
We bathed the boys, made them some maca and then got them ready for an early bed that night so Kaden would start to feel better and be able to enjoy more. Then we ordered some Outback and ate at the hotel that night. Just as I was feeling depressed about having a sick Kaden in Disneyland we saw fireworks from the park out our window. Paul and I watched them together and realized how lucky we were to be there and that everything would be ok. So grateful to be here with my family and for the gift of eternal families!

Plum Creek Trail

We decided to walk (or drive in their tractor) the Plum Creek Trail tonight and it ended up being very fun and eventful.
Kaden got to hold his first snake! One his daddy caught that was a tiny little baby we almost ran over with the tractor. He loved it, my brave boy.
Then we went to the little stream to try our luck at catching little minnows. Paul was able to catch one little fish and gave it to Kaden to hold, which he did with his bare hands! I'm telling you this kid is just like his dad that way. He loves nature.

They drove and rode in that little tractor the whole trail. Gavin holds on and is such a great passenger. I love seeing these two having fun together.

After the trail we sat out on the open grass and ate a snack. The boys loved running up and down the hill as fast as their little legs could go. It was a beautiful night. So grateful to live on this wonderful earth!

Monument Lake

My dad has a cool inflatable raft that Paul really wanted to take Kaden in so to Monument Lake we went. It took awhile to get the raft ready and them in the water, then it started to rain and get very windy so it was short lived but they had fun the time they did have. And Gavin had a great time throwing rocks into the water. His shirt was white so we took it off so it wouldn't get quite so dirty :)
