These were the last few days with his pacifier, he is so stinkin' cute it was hard to get rid of it but it was time and he took it like a champ.
We decided it would be time after he turned 2 but he was so attached at night and naptime I was so worried and felt so bad for the guy, he had no idea it was even coming. So one day as soon as he got out of bed, I cut all the ends off, right up to the top and just set them in his bed where he had put them earlier. When he came in later he grabbed them and said uh oh mom! over and over again. I said "Oh no buddy, they're broken!" It was a sad few hours, he kept asking me over and over again to fix them and I would tell them I can't fix them bud, they're broken. It was heartbreaking for him to continually say mama fix them, mama fix them. But he moved on in just a day or 2 and never looked back. Every now and then he would find one that I had cut off and then saved and say oh no, it's broken. But he never asked me to fix it again. I was so surprised with how well he did. But sometimes I do miss the pacifier, he looked so cute with it.
He can also go down the stairs front ways now like a big kid. He is just growing too fast, his personality is so much fun and he has so much love to give. He really is a special kid, so thoughtful and always making sure I'm ok and everyone is happy.
