Kaden is 5!!!

I can't believe this amazing boy of mine is 5!! He is truly such a joy in my life. I could sit and talk to this kid all day long, he says the funniest things and is so smart, always thinking. He is kind to everyone, loving and empathetic, always wants to make sure everyone is included (especially Gavin,) always happy. I truly could not have asked for a better oldest child. We are so blessed to have him in our family, I don't know how I was chosen to be his mom, I feel like he teaches me way more than I teach him everyday. I love you Kaden Ryan with my whole heart, you are my best little buddy. Happy Happy Birthday!!

 We started the birthday day off with his first friend's party. He decided he wanted a pirates theme and it all turned out so cute. The kids ate pizza, openened presents, had a scavenger hunt, played games, and ate cake. It was a great time and Kade loved every minute.

 That night we went to dinner with the family at Applebees (though bumbumbee's if you ask Gav.)
It was so fun to have everyone together to celebrate this little man. He wanted lots of mashems this year and was so excited when he opened a present to find their was lots inside!

Happy Happy Birthday my big 5 year old! You are one of my greatest blessings and my greatest joy!

Gavin is Potty Trained!

 This sweet little boy started wearing big boy unders! He was so excited and so easy to teach, definitely ready to be big like brother.

 Showing off the first underoos he decided to wear, Mike and Sully. Kaden is helping him show off some of the new unders he got to choose to buy.

These brothers are the very best of friends. Kaden was so kind and loving about helping him learn how to use the potty and was so nice if there was ever an accident. Each time Gavin made it to the potty Kaden would cheer and give high fives all around, I love that they are so supportive of each other. Gavin's triumph was Kaden's triumph. They are so close and the best of buddies, I hope it stays this way through their whole lives.

Baby #3!!

The boys were very excited when we told them another baby was coming to our house. They opened a gift with a cute little outfit in it and a card from the baby saying it is excited to meet them and is growing bigger in mom's belly everyday. I sure love these sweet boys and can't wait to add another sweet baby to our family!

Valentine's Day

 The boys love Valentine's Day for the reason that we have a "fancy dinner" including candles, nice food, rose petals, an actual table cloth,  sparkling cider and soft music. They think it is so very fun to do something a little different than usual.

Monster Truck!

 We surprised the boys with monster truck tickets and they absolutely loved it! We went with mom and dad and then later realized Randi and her family were there too in a suite so we decided to change seats and sit with them which gave us a lot better view and great company :)

Disney World Getaway!

 Paul had a work trip to Florida so we decided to take advantage and make it into a getaway for the two of us! My parents and Jean were so kind to watch the boys for us while we were gone (which is a win-win since they love their little grandparents vacation as well.) It worked out to be just a few days before our 9 year anniversary so we used it as a chance to celebrate!
Paul started the trip out with a big speaking engagement, which he got many compliments on and just generally rocked it!
Then when work was done we headed to Disney World for lots of fun!

 We had the most amazing time, we stayed onsite this time at pop century resort. We were able to get up when we wanted, stay as late as we wanted, ride what we wanted, and had so many fun times together. The parade and fire works were amazing.

 I sure love this man! It was so fun to be able to reconnect with him and spend one on one time together.

We were also able to send a picture to our family telling them our exciting news! Baby #3 is coming the 1st of September!
