I cannot believe my babies are 6 months old!! My heart is breaking, I feel like they should still just be my tiny new babies that just came home from the hospital. Time just goes by way too fast. They are truly the best! Unless they are hungry or tired they are pretty laid back. And it’s getting so fun to interact with them and play. It’s easy to get smiles from them and that makes it fun to entertain. They get lots of love and entertainment from their big brothers. They love their family, snuggles, being held, and pulling my hair. They hate sleeping and being hungry.
Beckett is a happy go lucky baby. He is easy going and just wants to be held and snuggled tight all day. The only time he gets impatient is when he’s hungry (this boy LOVES food) or when he rolls to his tummy and can’t get back over. We recently found he loves to sleep on his tummy though and does a lot better job staying asleep that way. He also loves sleeping in our bed. He has a loud, drawn out cry, which makes us hurry faster to get him and stop him before he wakes his sister, smart boy. We love this little squishy baby, he is just the sweetest most lovie little man.
Little Miss Cambry is the tiniest little thing ever, she just verily started wearing 3 month clothes and just got over the 10 pound mark. Everything about her is petite and cute. Her cry is a tiny little whimper sound, she lets Beckett do all the crying and just tags along with him when someone comes in to get him. She loves you to hold her while she sleeps, or sleep in bed with you. The big boys like to stand and hold her still since she’s so tiny, she doesn’t really get wiggly and isn’t strong enough to push back yet. She get the biggest smile on her face when she connects eyes with Beckett, she already loves him so much. We have loved having a little girl and matching her bows and getting pink things. She is one very loved, very protected little princess.
The excitement of these sweet babes has not worn off with any of us. The boys still want to hold them all day and get so excited to see them in the morning. They are great at keeping them happy when they start to get sad or bored. They are truly loved and adored.
We love you Cambry and Beckett, and are so very grateful you came to our family, the Lord knew how much joy and love you would bring to us. Having two babies has been such an adventure. So much fun and joy and also some new things to figure out. They fit in so well with our family, I can’t imagine life without them. It will be so fun seeing them grow and learn together and seeing their own little personalities shine as well. LOVE YOU sweet babies!
