Busy Saturday

 We decided to move the playroom down to the basement and start bringing up baby stuff for baby brother's room. The boys were so excited. Yay baby #3! Gavin tried so hard to make his fingers into the number 3.

 Getting ready for t-ball practice for Kaden. I love to see these cute boys in their tank tops! They are so very cute!!!

After T-ball the boys helped daddy mow the lawn. He sure has a lot of good helpers these days :)

The Aquarium: Family Fun Day

The boys have been asking for a long time now when we could go back to the aquarium so we decided since Paul had Friday off it would be a perfect time to go.

 Kaden has been obsessed with sharks lately, thanks to a new phone game called "Shark Attack" and was so very excited to see this mouth of a megaladon!!

 These two snuggled like this everytime we watched the flood portion of the aquarium (which was Gavin's absolute favorite and we watched a dozen times or so.)

 Kaden's beloved shark! He flapped the whole time we were in this room. So glad we got to come when he loves sharks so much and we could see them in person.

 They also absolutely loved the sting rays. They both leaned over and touched them and then even fed them. They both did great holding the little fish the whole time until it sucked it out of them.

 After we walked through we used our groupon to eat at the aquarium restaurant. The food was not good but the mermaids came and did a show right by our table which was fun to watch. Gavin kept saying it was Ariel!

Such a fun day! I love this little family of mine so very much! My favorite thing is to spend the day with them and make fun memories together. I'm so blessed to be a mom and wife to these guys.

Zoo Day

 The boys and I decided it was time for a zoo day and it was so much fun. It was just the right temperature.

First Lake Day of the Summer

 Yay for the first lake day of the summer! Sadly Paul had to work (we love you Paul) but the kids and I went with everyone and had a great time.

 There was lots and lots of playing in the sand...

 And swimming, jet skiing, and tubing!

Randi rode the tube with all the littles (since baby boy might not like tubing) and they had a blast. Gavin belly laughed the whole time and Kaden just relaxed and enjoyed every second. We love the lake! Can't wait for many more days like this, but next time we'll bring daddy.

Dirty Woman Park with Grandma & Grandpa

 While Paul went to help his grandma with some yard work mom, dad and I took the boys to the park by their house. There is a little stream that they boys thought was so much fun. We found lots of sticks to throw in and could've stayed there for hours.

 Kaden found a huge stick that was perfect for stirring the water and one that was way bigger than he was. We will have to go back and take daddy and a picnic and spend the day.

Palmer Lake Fish Derby

 Palmer Lake had their fish derby, where they put 6,000 fish in the lake, so we decided it would be a good day to take the boys fishing. They were very excited and Paul was very patient.

Finally after a couple fish bit and then got off they caught one! The boys were so very excited. They both wanted to touch it and hold it. 

Paul asked Kaden if we should throw it back in the water but Kaden said he wanted to take it home and eat it. So we took it to grandma and grandpa's house to clean and cook it up.

They thought it was so cool to be able to touch its eye and check it out while Paul cleaned it and got it ready to cook.

Gavin was not a fan but Kaden ate all of his bites and more, he loved it! Guess he takes after his daddy.
