We Wish you a Merry Christmas

Having kids at the holidays is the best! Everything is more exciting and fun because it's so magical for kids. Decorating the tree, getting out the stockings and snowmen, anticipating Christmas morning and what Santa will bring you. It's all so much fun. But also remembering the Savior and why we celebrate Christmas, What an amazing event that occurred so that we might live with Him again. I love my Savior so much and I'm so grateful for my membership in the gospel and for the knowledge I have of my Redeemer and the plan of salvation. This truly is a magical time of year.

The boys big gift from grandma and grandpa was a tractor for them to both ride in. It was a hit! They were so surprised and excited to try it out. Can't wait to take it out and let them ride together all day long.

Gavin's 1st big boy haircut!

 Gavin got his 1st haircut and Kaden also got a trim. Both boys did very well. They both got suckers and watched some toons while Aunt Randi went to work.

Both boys turned out looking very very handsome! Thank you so much Randi, you are a pro! Also, cutest faces in the world right here!

Halloween is one of our all time favorite holidays. It always has been since I was little and my dad and I used to decorate the back of our trailer for the trunk or treat and it has definitely passed down to my boys. They LOVE it. Everything about it, pumpkins, the smells, the leaves, the costumes, candy, decorating, scaring kids, all of it! So fun to spend it with two sweet little gentlemen!

 This year we had a pumpkin and a spider .Then we got on skeleton jammies to match with Jaxon. Having these 3 boys together is very fun, they are going to be the best of buddies!

The boys get a Swing Set

Yay! We bought a swing set! We were so excited to put it together but it ended up being a lot more work than we first thought. Luckily dad, Adam, and Paul were pros and did a great job working in the very hot sun all day long. Thanks guys!

 Both the boys LOVED the swing set and it will definitely be worth the hard work to put it together. I think we will getyears of enjoyment from this!

Best Date Ever: Goo Goo Dolls

I am one lucky girl! Paul surprised me with an amazing date. He told me in the morning we were going on a date that night but nothing about it. Paul's mom came and watched the boys and we headed out. First we had dinner at Costa Vida then continued driving up to North Denver. I had no idea where we were going. Finally I saw Red Rocks and guessed it was a concert but I didn't know which one. As we got closer there was a sign that said Goo Goo Dolls July 15. I screamed and asked him if WE were going to the goo goo concert? This was definitely a bucket list concert of mine. I have loved the Goo Goo Dolls forever but never thought I'd actually get there. Plus I had never been to Red Rocks before but it was so amazing and this was such a great concert to see there for the first time. 

 The band was awesome and Paul and I had so much fun being alone together. Like I said I am one lucky girl. I'm so blessed to have him as my own. Love you Paul, thanks for the perfect night out!

4th of July in Vernal

We had such a great time in Vernal for the 4th. Randi and her family, mom and dad, and us all got to go over together. Sportsmans was a fun stop for grandpa and Gavin. Cute little baby! 

 We went and saw Grandma Lois a lot. The kids ran around and played and showed her all their favorite things. I sure love this sweet woman, she is so funny and loves life. So grateful I get to be a part of her family. So glad my kids get to know their great great grandma.

 And of course we saw a lot of the big green dinosaur, Kaden's all time favorite! He is especially awesome at night at the 4th with all the lights and fireworks and his hat on. Kaden has loved him with all his heart since he was a tiny little guy and still does.

 We did dinner and fireworks at Brooke's house this year and had lots of fun running around her backyard, playing with cousins, doing sparklers, and of course watching the amazing firework show put on by the guys.

Love living in this wonderful place and for all the blessings that comes with it. Freedom, family, and love of America. It was such a great day.

Soaking up Summer!

 These sweet brothers are getting so good at playing together. I can't wait to see what great friends they become and how much fun they have together!

 We had some fun days at the zoo. Both boys love seeing all the animals and especially riding on the train and the carousel.
